What You’ll Build

You’ll work on ROCKON’s onboarding and identity platform, developing secure, scalable components used by banks and regulated institutions. Your work directly impacts security, performance, and compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement backend services using modern Java (Spring Boot, Security, ORM)
• Build frontend applications with Angular for complex workflows
• Develop and maintain APIs (REST / OpenAPI)
• Contribute to containerized deployments (Docker)
• Collaborate in a small, skilled engineering team
• Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years experience as a Java developer in mission-critical systems
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Security, ORM (Hibernate)
• Strong experience with Angular and modern frontend patterns
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins)
• Understanding of API design and integration concepts
• Enjoy working in agile teams and taking ownership
• Fluent in English; German is a plus

Nice to Have

• Unit and integration testing experience
• DevOps exposure (OpenShift, Helm)
• Interest in security, identity, or compliance topics
